Privacy Policy

Renton Sunny Daycare (“Renton Sunny Daycare,” “we,” “us”) is a Washington DCYF Licensed Family Home child care in Renton, WA. This policy explains what we collect when you use rentonsunnydaycare.com or send us a message, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to be read by parents, not lawyers.

What we collect

• What you type into our forms. Your name, email address, phone number, your child’s age range, a desired start date, a preferred tour time, whether you plan to use a WCCC subsidy, and any notes you add.
• Text-message consent. If you tick the “Yes, text me” box, we record that you consented, when, and to which number.
• How you found us. Standard campaign tags in the link you clicked (for example utm_source) and the referring page, so we know whether a shelter, community center, or search engine sent you.
• Payments. If you pay the registration fee online, Stripe handles your card. We never see or store your card number — only a confirmation that the fee was paid.
• Basic site analytics. Page views and performance timings, collected without cookies by Vercel Analytics. This does not identify you personally.

How we use it

• To reply to your tour or enrollment request and schedule a call or visit.
• To send you the emails you asked for: confirmations, tour reminders, and a short follow-up series that you can leave with one click.
• To send you text messages, only if you opted in (see below).
• To confirm your registration payment and set up your enrollment paperwork.
• To meet Washington DCYF record-keeping requirements once your child is enrolled.

Text messages (SMS)

When you provide your mobile number and check the consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive automated text messages from Renton Sunny Daycare about tour scheduling, enrollment follow-up, and updates about your child's care (pickup and drop-off timing, closures, and reminders).

• Message frequency: Message frequency varies; families using pickup and drop-off may receive messages daily.
• Standard rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile phone service plan.
• Opting out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. You will get one final confirmation text and nothing further.
• Help: Reply HELP to any message, or email hello@rentonsunnydaycare.com.
• Consent is optional. Texting is not a condition of touring or enrolling. If you leave the box unchecked we will call and email you instead.

We do not share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data is used only to send you the messages described above and is excluded from every form of sharing described in this policy, other than the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share it only with the service providers that run this site and our communications, and only so they can do that work for us:

• Twilio — delivers our text messages.
• Resend — delivers our email.
• Stripe — processes registration payments.
• Vercel — hosts the website and runs analytics.
• A managed database provider — stores form submissions securely.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to Washington DCYF as part of our licensing obligations.

Children’s privacy

Our website is for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. The information we hold about your child (age range, and later name, date of birth, and care records) is provided by you as their parent or guardian and is kept as required by DCYF licensing rules.

How long we keep it

Tour and enrollment inquiries that do not lead to enrollment are kept for up to 24 months so Shamso can follow up when a spot opens, then deleted. Records for enrolled children are kept for the period Washington DCYF requires. You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner at any time.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message.
• Stop texts by replying STOP.
• Ask us to see, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@rentonsunnydaycare.com.

Security

Form submissions travel over HTTPS and are stored in an access-controlled database. Only Shamso and the people who maintain this site for her can see them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes to how we use your phone number will be sent to you before they take effect.
