Daycare that picks up from Kennydale Elementary
School pickup is the single most painful schedule combination for a working parent: be at Kennydale Elementary at around 2:30pm, then back to work, then back again at 5pm. Renton Sunny solves it — we pick up your child after the bell and they spend the rest of the afternoon at our home, with homework support and free play.
The Kennydale Elementary run takes about 5 minutes from the school to our home, so kids are settling in by 3pm.
About this route
Kennydale Elementary is the north-Renton neighborhood school just east of Lake Washington Boulevard. The route between Kennydale ES and our home is one of the shortest after-bell pickups we run — usually under ten minutes door-to-door — making it a strong option for families who need an older-sibling pickup on top of a toddler enrollment.
